This painting was done for the daily paintworks weekly challenge.  I started with some liquid clear and the paint flowed nicely.  This left the painting rather shinny and photographing it created too much reflected light, so I set it on some card board strips and scanned it while it was still wet.

Black Hole is a favorite fishing and swimming hole in Baca County. Thanks to Carol Marine, I had better success photographing this painting by taking it outside in the shade on the north side of my studio.  I found the perfect place to set it on a window sill. It was a bit too blue, so I balanced the color to match its true color.  If you click on the image above you can see it in the largest format possible.   Below is the same picture taken yesterday indoors under poor lighting.  You can click on it to see the large format too.
